Is the NSA the Bogeyman?

Cell phones have used GPS technology for years.  I took my time switching to a new phone because I had my doubts about whether I wanted anyone to know where I was 24/7.  But, GPS was installed more for parental concerns as well as being able to find you in an accident.  We can't find you, we can't help you.  No one can blame the NSA for pulling such data.  Once it is out there, it is no longer yours.  The majority of people wanted "on the grid" so bad so they could be "cooler" than everyone else.  We have no one to blame but ourselves.  My opinion - I was amazed no one had already assumed that the NSA was keeping tabs.  My response was, "Of course."
