Voting

Our founding fathers created a Bill of Rights and a Constitution in order to give the people a say in their government.  You are the people.  We are the people.  One basic method is by voting.  We, the people, have the power to vote people in and out of office regardless of party affiliations.  If you vote, you know your wishes were counted.  It may not be the majority, but you know you made your wishes known.  If you don't vote, you don't have the right to gripe.  Party affiliation cannot MAKE you vote their way.  Believing in your party and it's basic tenets is one thing. Agreeing with the individuals is another.  This is one of the reasons why your vote is private.  Only you know how you vote.  The main ideal, though, is voting is a right and a privilege.  Get out there and make your wishes known!
