Looks like the folks over at ZD Net have been busy getting down to the cold hard facts regarding the reliability of leading smartphones

This article shows how some manufacturers have specific issues with a wide range of their phones: Samsung has microphone problems, Motorola pushes crappy bloatware and Apple always seems to have battery life problems. It is an interesting breakdown of seemingly "genetic" hardware faults, the same companies make the same design mistakes each time.
