Interesting: 52% of Shoppers Used Cell Phones to Compare Prices

Just a nice daily tid-bit of information; it was reported by the Pew Research Center that 52% of customers used their cell phones to aid in holiday shopping in 2011, a trend that is likely to continue this year.

"More than half (52%) of adult cell phone owners used their cell phones while they were in a store during the 2011 holiday season to seek help with purchasing decisions.
During a 30 day period before and after Christmas 2011, 38% of cell owners called a friend for advice about a purchase they were considering; 24% looked up online reviews of a product; and, 25% checked prices to see if they could do better elsewhere." - via Pew

Interesting insight, will you use your phone to sort through the masses of advertising and deal-making this year? You can get a quality used phone right here at the cell phone doctor or you can give us one of your old phones for some much needed holiday cash here.
